DOES DD AUTO IMPORTS ONLY SELL JAPANESE VEHICLES?
DD Auto Imports specializes in all Japanese brand name vehicles. These include famous brands like Honda, Toyota, Suzuki, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Mazda. Recently we have included in our inventory  imports from Singapore voted the most" technology ready nation ".We also carry a small range of European brands, namely BMW, Peugeot, Mercedes,  Audi and Jeep  Wrangler. American brands are imported on a special request basis only. Terms and Conditions apply for these special orders.

DO YOU ONLY SELL CARS?
We sell cars, SUVS, Jeeps, cross overs, mini vans, heavy machinery and vehicular parts. 

DO I HAVE TO MAKE A DEPOSIT ON MY VEHICLE TO HAVE IT ORDERED?
EC$2000 deposit is required to secure your order.  Special orders require a deposit of minimum EC$10 000. These include high-end luxury brands which are not held in the local inventory. A deposit on the deposit is accepted. The deposit is deducted from the cost of the vehicle.

 IS MY DEPOSIT  REFUNDABLE IF I CHANGE MY MIND
We can refund your deposit by cheque or by crediting your account if the refund request is made within 5 days from the date the deposit was made. Deposit is non-refundable for special orders  or after the last transaction is complete.

 DO YOU OFFER FINANCING?
We do not offer financing but we are affiliated with all local banking institutions.

 WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO ORDER MY VEHICLE?
For special orders, deposit payment(s) MUST be settled in full no later than the 8th day of the month.  This will allow DD Auto Imports sufficient time to procure and ship your vehicle of choice within the same month.  The car vessel sails on or around the 30th day of each month. The voyage is estimated at 35 days from shipment.

ONCE MY DEPOSIT IS MADE , WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
An Invoice is prepared to be taken to the financial institution.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE VEHICLE TO ARRIVE FROM JAPAN?
The car vessel  arrives on island within 35-50 days of departure from Japan.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE THE VEHICLE ARRIVES ON ISLAND?
An Evaluation is prepared and submitted to the customer.  This document is necessary for the insuring of the vehicle. Once the insurance process in completed a copy of insurance must be submitted to your financial institution and DD Auto Imports.

HOW SOON IS THE VEHICLE CLEARED UPON ARRIVAL?
Upon payment in full. The vehicle is cleared from Customs within 24-48 hours. A Declaration Certificate is prepared to allow the customer to register the vehicle with Transport Board. The Customer must have an original copy of the insurance to complete the registration process.

*NOTE: most financial institutions would process a vehicle loan within  5-7 working days.  Seek details from your financial institution

ASIDE FROM THE COST OF THE VEHICLE, ARE THERE ANY OTHER COST INCURRED?
The Cost includes all government duties and taxes, and is quoted in Eastern Caribbean Dollars. Cost does not include vehicle registration fees with Transport Board.

DO YOU OFFER WARRANTY ON THE VEHICLES ?
Warranty is offered only on the full price advertised.  Warranty is limited to 30 days.

DO YOU CARRY OUT MAINTENANCE WORK ON THE VEHICLES?
Prior to delivery, an essential service is provided on all vehicles.

DO YOU INSTALL EXTRAS ON THE VEHICLE ( CD PLAYERS,  TINT, FM EXPANDER, ALARM SYSTEM)
We are only able to make recommendations.

IF I NEED ANY PART FOR MY NEWLY PURCHASED VEHICLE, HOW SHOULD I PROCEED?
DD AUTO IMPORTS offers new and remanufactured automobile parts. Our remanufactured automobile parts have been repaired and retooled in Japan to their original condition. These parts are still technically used but now function as or very close to how they did when they were first manufactured.
